Korean stars Won Mi Kyung (“My Unfamiliar Family,” “Wonderful World”) and Kim Eung Soo (“Mr. Sunshine,“ “When the Stars Gossip”) have joined the cast of upcoming indie feature “Bedford Park” alongside Jefferson White (“Yellowstone”).

Marking the directorial debut of writer and editor Stephanie Ahn, “Bedford Park” began production on April 14 in New Jersey.

The film — which also stars Moon Choi and Sukku Son — revolves around an accident that “brings together the lives of a Korean American woman, struggling between her loyalty to her family and the pull towards her passions, and a forsaken ex-wrestler, trying to right the wrongs of his fractured past.”

The producing team for includes Gary Foster and Russ Krassnoff (“Sleepless in Seattle,” “Tin Cup,” “Community”) under the Krasnoff/Foster Productions banner; Chris S. Lee (“Pig Village,” “The Gangster The Cop The Devil”), and Nina Yang Bongiovi (“Fruitvale Station,” “Fancy Dance”).

“Continuing with our quest to put together a cast of top actors, adding Korean screen legends Won Mi Kyung and Kim Eung Soo is a dream come true,” said Foster. “I am big fan of ‘Yellowstone’ and was thrilled when the very talented Jefferson White came onboard.”

“Won Mi Kyung and Kim Eung Soo are icons in Korea who have commanded the screen with grace and artistry for decades,” added Lee. “We are so honored to have them make their Hollywood film debut in Bedford Park, bringing a level of authenticity that lifts the entire film. They don’t just play parents, they embody history, resilience, and the unspoken tensions that define so many immigrant families.”

Mi Kyung is a South Korean actress who made her debut after winning first place in the Miss Lotte beauty pageant in 1978. She was considered one of the top actresses of the 80s and has a highly successful box office record in dramas and films, such as “Spinning the Tales of Cruelty Towards Women” in 1984, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, she returned to work in Korea with much fanfare.

Eung-soo is a distinguished South Korean actor, who has built a prolific career that spans several decades and genres and gained widespread recognition for roles such as Kwak Chul-yong in “Tazza: The High Rollers,” Lee Kyung-sik in “Chuno,” and memorable villainous turns in both film and drama, including “Inside Men” and “Asura: The City of Madness.” He most recently starred in “When the Stars Gossip” and has become a viral favorite among younger audiences thanks to recurring appearances on sketch shows like “Gag Concert.”

Jefferson White most recently starred in Alex Garland’s high-profile feature “Civil War,” playing a frontline war journalist opposite Kirsten Dunst. He also appeared in William Oldroyd’s critically acclaimed “Eileen,” and is best known for his breakout role as Jimmy Hurdstrom in Kevin Costner’s “Yellowstone.” He’ll next star as Lee Harvey Oswald in “November 1963,” which will be directed by two-time Oscar nominee “Roland Joffé.”

CAA Media Finance is handling the North American rights. Cornerstone Films is handling international sales. White is repped by Gersh, Principal Entertainment LA, Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Feldman,Rogal, Shikora &Clark.
