Audience favorite character actor Ben Foster has a bunch of intriguing upcoming projects, like a film adaptation of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” and the action film “Motor City.” And Foster also co-stars alongside Sydney Sweeney in the still-untitled upcoming biopic about female professional boxer Christy Martin, which should hit theaters later this year.

But before those three films comes “Sharp Corner,” an indie thriller that made the festival rounds last Fall. The film stars Foster as a father who grows increasingly obsessed with the fatal car crashes repeatedly happening in front of his new house. Will the family man’s downward spiral put his family at risk?

SHARP CORNER follows Josh, a troubled man increasingly consumed by the fatal car crashes in front of his house. As Josh’s obsession takes hold, he begins to spiral, placing his wife and son in jeopardy and setting in motion a series of events that threaten to permanently break the family apart.
Along with Foster, “Sharp Corners” also stars Cobie Smulders, Gavin Drea, and William Kosovic.
Jason Buxton writes and directs “Sharp Corners.” He also produces the film with Paul Barkin, Marc Tereault, and Jason Levangie.
“Sharp Corner” has its world premiere at TIFF last September. It also screened at the 2024 Atlantic International Film Festival and Rome Film Festival last Fall.
