Rosanna Arquette and Ashton Sanders have joined the cast of the horror film, “Corporate Retreat.” Currently in pre-production, the film is written and directed by Aaron Fisher, whose previous credits include the romantic drama “Inside the Rain.” Principal photography on the project will begin in June.
Passage Pictures is producing the film. Arquette is best known for her starring roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “Desperately Seeking Susan,” “The Whole Nine Yards,” “The Big Blue,” and “After Hours.” Her recent work includes Apple’s “Presumed Innocent,” Netflix’s “Florida Man” and ABC’s “Big Sky.”
Sanders is known for his roles in the Oscar-winning “Moonlight” and A24’s “Native Son.” His other film credits include “Judas and the Black Messiah,” “Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” and “The Equalizer 2.”
“Corporate Retreat” is described as an “elevated horror-thriller.” It centers around a group of corporate executives whose team-bonding trip turns into a bloody fight for survival against a vengeful retreat leader. The script is co-written by Fisher and Kerri Lee Romeo.
Uri Singer is producing the picture. His credits include Noah Baumbach’s “White Noise,” as well as several of Michael Almereyda’s films, including “Marjorie Prime” and “Tesla.”
