New Tata Cars, SUVs Expected At Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

2025 Tata Harrier EV Spied

Tata Motors is gearing up for an impressive showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January, unveiling a host of new vehicles. These include a mix of internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EV), underlining Tata’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and market leadership. Here is a list of cars and SUVs which are expected to be showcased at the Tata Motors stall next month.

Tata Sierra EV

Among the most awaited launches is the Tata Sierra, a legendary nameplate making a grand comeback. The Sierra is expected to be offered in both ICE and EV variants, catering to a broad spectrum of buyers. The EV version will likely feature a 60-80 kWh battery pack, delivering a range exceeding 500 km, while the ICE variant could be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine generating 170 PS and 280 Nm. A robust 2.0-litre diesel engine option, already seen in other Tata SUVs, is also expected. The production version of the Sierra is likely to be unveiled at the Expo.

Tata Harrier EV

Another standout offering expected is the Tata Harrier EV, which will make its debut alongside the Sierra. The Harrier EV is expected to feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, offering enhanced performance and versatility. For entry-level trims, a single-motor version is anticipated, making the EV more accessible. While exact battery details remain undisclosed, the Harrier EV is projected to have a range between 450-550 km, making it a strong contender in the electric SUV space. Its design is expected to mirror the current Harrier, with some unique styling elements specific to the EV version.

Tata Safari EV

Tata’s focus on electrification continues with the Safari EV, slated for a February 2025 debut. The electric Safari is expected to retain the signature three-row layout, available in six- and seven-seat configurations. Sharing its powertrain and battery options with the Harrier EV, the Safari EV will cater to families and larger groups, combining practicality with eco-friendly performance. Its design will likely align with the existing Safari, maintaining the SUV’s strong road presence while integrating modern EV-specific updates.

Tata Harrier Petrol

Bharat Expo 2025 could also see the introduction of a petrol-powered Tata Harrier, marking a significant addition to the lineup. The Harrier’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 170 PS and 280 Nm, will be paired with manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options. This variant could offer a more affordable entry point to the Harrier range, broadening its appeal to budget-conscious buyers.

Facelifted Tata Punch

In addition to its EV portfolio, Tata Motors plans to refresh its ICE lineup. The Punch compact SUV is set to receive a mid-cycle facelift later in 2025. We can expect Tata Motors to showcase the updated version at the Bharat Expo next month. The updated Punch will feature redesigned exteriors, revamped interiors, and new features while continuing with its 1.2-litre petrol engine (88 PS, 115 Nm). These updates aim to keep the Punch competitive in the growing compact SUV market.

Facelifted Tata Tiago, Tigor

Tata Motors is expected to launch facelifts for the Tiago hatchback and Tigor sedan in the coming weeks. Ahead of that, they will most likely make debut at the Bharat Expo. These models will receive design updates, refreshed interiors, and additional features to remain competitive against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze. Their electric counterparts, the Tiago EV and Tigor EV, are also expected to undergo similar updates, reinforcing Tata’s dominance in the EV space.
