With the launch of Honda Elevate Black Edition, the company will bring more excitement and style appeal
Looking back at the past years, Honda Elevate SUV has been among the company’s most important launches. This aligns with the industry’s growth trends that favour SUVs. Honda Elevate falls in India’s most over-crowded and cut-throat 4.3 meter SUV segment with up to 11 contenders.
Honda Elevate Black Edition Spied
Honda is trying to compete at the highest level with Elevate SUV in this segment. To boost sales and increase the appeal of Elevate SUV, Honda will launch a Black Edition of this SUV this month. Recent spy shots show a rather stunning Honda Elevate Black Edition in a lovely black shade with stealthy appeal.
If you’re thinking about what could look better than the standard Honda Elevate, the answer is simple – a Honda Elevate in Black. While India largely prefers safer colours like White, which dominates the market, there’s something undeniably striking about a Black car. Recognizing this unmatched appeal, Honda Cars India Limited is set to introduce the Elevate Black Edition, adding a bold and sophisticated touch to their popular SUV.
Currently, Honda Elevate is offered in seven monotone shades – Lunar Silver metallic, Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. Also, Honda offers three dual-tone colours paired with a Crystal Black Pearl roof mated to Orange, White and Red shades.
The new Honda Elevate Black Edition will get an all-black theme. The bodywork is painted with what looks like Crystal Black Pearl shade. As seen in the spy shots, even the alloy wheels of standard SUV are painted Black with Black Edition. Body cladding all-around seems to be un-painted and adds a contrast to the rest of Gloss Black.
Honda seems to be adding a smoked effect to the lighting elements including front headlights and rear tail lights. Thus adding a lot of personality to this Compact SUV. We can see a Black Edition specific badge on the tailgate. Also, these spy shots suggest that Honda might be offering tinted privacy glass for the rear windows, rear windshield and sunroof.
All-Black Interiors!
Honda Elevate Black Edition gets an all-black interior theme too. As standard, Honda Elevate offers a dual-tone Black and Brown interior theme. With an all-Black themed interior, Honda Elevate Black Edition will look very sporty and stealthy, which is a trend currently catching on with Indian buyers. We can expect a few Black Edition badges on the inside to make it feel special.
Under the bonnet, we don’t expect any changes and the same tried and tested 1.5L NA Petrol i-VTEC engine will be carried over. This engine will generate 119 bhp of peak power and 145 Nm of peak torque, mated to either a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AMT. Honda Elevate Black Edition might be offered only with top-spec trims with a small price premium for extra attention to detail.
