This Lululemon Backpack Is Perfect for Travel

I firmly believe that anyone who travels needs at least one reliable backpack. Even if most of your traveling is from your house to the office, I maintain this stance. For starters, what other type of bag gives you a balanced distribution of weight on your shoulders and fits all of your daily essentials comfortably? None of them. Not even your favorite tote.

I’ve had this backpack for nearly four years now and it barely shows signs of wear, which is pretty impressive considering I’ve carried it with me everywhere — from the sandy beaches of Santa Monica to the cityscapes of Seoul — and through every element, including rain, sleet, and snow. I’m going to attribute this durability to the bag’s sturdy, water-repellent fabric, as I’m not particularly gentle with my belongings. 

With accessible exterior pockets to stash essentials (like your wallet or phone), a trolley-compatible sleeve, and a separate padded compartment for your laptop, this backpack is a commuter and traveler’s dream. There are also two slots on either side of the bag that fit most 32-ounce water bottles, which can help you stay hydrated during long travel days.

Over the years, my Lululemon backpack has completely replaced my beloved weekender bag as my primary carry-on. I’ve taken it to and from Korea several times, on countless trips around the States, and throughout my adventures in Iceland earlier this year, which included traversing glaciers and hiking through ice caves. 

In fact, it was during this activity-packed trip around Iceland that I realized just how useful this backpack can be.
