KTM has officially unveiled its much-anticipated 1390 Super Duke R in India that will rival bikes like the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, Ducati Streetfighter V4 S and the BMW S1000 R.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R details
The 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a newly developed 1,301cc V-twin engine that produces a peak output of 190hp at 10,000rpm and 145Nm at 8,000rpm. It has features like an advanced traction control, launch control, wheelie control, multiple ride modes and a bi-directional quickshifter. Suspension duties are taken care of by a WP USD fork at the front and a WP monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a set of dual 320mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
In terms of design, the 1390 Super Duke R looks muscular and aggressive with a sharp LED headlamp, a 17.5-litre tank, angular lines and minimal bodywork. The 1390 Super Duke R has a seat height of 834mm and tips the scales at 200kg (without fuel). This bike will be available at all new KTM flagship stores in seven cities, starting with Bangalore and Pune.
