Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys have some exciting projects on the way, with Pike attached starring in two upcoming Guy Ritchie movies, and Rhys starring in the Netflix TV series “The Beast In Me.” But before those three things, the pair team up for “Hallow Road,” a thriller that premiered at SXSW last month.
Pike and Rhys play two parents who receive one of the worst late-night calls from their teenage daughter possible. But that’s only the start of one of the worst night of the family’s lives…
Here’s an official trailer for “Hallow Road,” courtesy of XYZ Films:
Two parents receive a distressing late-night call from their teenage daughter, who has just accidentally hit a pedestrian. They jump in their car, racing to get there before anyone else stumbles across the scene. As they head deeper into the night, disturbing revelations threaten to tear the family apart as they soon realize they might not be the only ones driving down Hallow Road.
Along with Pike and Rhys, “Hallow Road” also stars Megan McDonnell.
BAFTA-winner (“Under The Shadow“) Babak Anvari directs “Hallow Road.” William Gillies pens the screenplay. Producers on the film include Ian Henry, Aram Tertzakian, Lucas Toh, Nate Bolotin, Richard Bolger, and Lucan Toh.
“Hallow Road” had its world premiere at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival.
“Hallow Road” hits UK theaters on May 15, and American theaters later this summer. Watch a trailer for the thriller below.
