Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola at the end of the season.
The Blues previously tried to sign Barcola from Lyon two years ago, but they were beaten to his signature by Les Parisiens.
Barcola has become a key player for PSG after a mixed debut campaign, but he is currently unsettled at the capital outfit.
As per L’Equipe, the winger is unhappy with the club’s decision to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli last winter.
Kvaratskhelia occupies the same position as him on the left wing. Barcola’s playing time has reduced as a result.
This could urge the attacker to move on when the transfer window reopens later this year. Chelsea could be tempted to make a renewed approach for his services.
The Blues have made steady progress under manager Enzo Maresca and they could play Champions League football next term.
This would provide them with a huge boost in purchasing Barcola.
