The 313cc liquid-cooled engine on BMW G 310 GS develops 33.52 bhp and 28 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and weighing 175 kg
With a potent 310cc platform, BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor entered into a strategic partnership, sharing technology and other elements. With this partnership, BMW managed to enter into price brackets that it could never enter before.
BMW launched three motorcycles based on this platform, manufactured by TVS Motor. These include G 310 R street fighter motorcycle, G 310 RR supersport machine and G 310 GS adventure tourer bike. At the fag end of 2024, BMW Motorrad dealerships seem to be offering hefty discounts on G 310 GS. Let’s take a look.
BMW G 310 GS Year-End Offers
The prospect of a high-performance single-cylinder adventurer tourer is an attractive one. Many OEMs have tried their luck in this segment including BMW Motorrad. The BMW G 310 GS locks horns with more powerful and feature-loaded rivals like Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and upcoming KTM 390 Adventure.
BMW Motorrad has announced a price hike on its portfolio from January 1st 2025. With just days remaining for 2024, a few BMW Motorrad dealerships across India have been offering attractive year-end discounts to attract buyers and clear unsold inventory.
For BMW G 310 GS, year-end discounts go up to Rs 50,000 OTR (On The Road, including RTO taxes and insurance). So, these year-end discounts are aimed at reducing OTR costs and not offered against Ex-sh prices. Speaking of Ex-sh prices, BMW G 310 GS is priced by the company at Rs 3.30 lakh for one standard fully-loaded variant.
So, if you’re from the tax-heavy Karnataka state like myself, a BMW G 310 GS can be had for around Rs 3.5 lakh (OTR) and 3.7 lakh (OTR), including the year-end discounts. These discounts and colour choices are subject to dealer availability and visiting your nearest dealership for accurate prices is still advised.
