Analysing Bajaj sales breakup Nov 2024 charts, Chetak experienced the best sales prospect with numbers growing by 203.12% YoY
Bajaj Auto managed to close the books for the month of November 2024 with 1,96,906 units sold in the domestic market with 6.47% YoY decline as opposed to 2,10,532 units sold in November 2023. The company’s portfolio consists of ICE motorcycles and an electric scooter, Chetak. Bajaj currently lacks an ICE scooter in its lineup since the discontinuation of Kristal.

Pulsars continued to be Bajaj’s best-selling model and has held that position for a very long time. There were 1,14,467 units of Pulsars sold last month accounting for 58.13% of Bajaj’s sales. Pulsars saw a 12.22% YoY decline as opposed to 1,30,403 units sold a year ago, losing 15,936 units in volume YoY.
Bajaj sold 44,578 units of Platina last month accounting for 22.64% of Bajaj’s sales. Platina saw a 26.45% YoY decline with 16,029 units lost in volume YoY when compared to the 60,607 units from last year. Chetak is the only one that has registered YoY growth on this list. With 25,680 units sold, Bajaj Chetak quadrupled its numbers with 203.12% YoY growth, gaining 17,208 units in volume.
World’s 1st CNG bike, Freedom 125, sold a respectable 5,953 units last month. Bajaj’s affordable CT lineup sold 4,307 units and volume halved YoY with a 50.17% YoY decline. Avenger cruisers sold 1,300 units and witnessed a 19.35% YoY decline. Lastly, we have Bajaj’s Dominar lineup with 621 units sold and a 21.89% YoY decline.
Displacement-Wise Sales Breakup
Bajaj’s portfolio starts from affordable commuters in the 100cc and 110cc segments. These include CT 110, and Platina 100 and Platina 110. The CT lineup sold 4,304 units and Platina lineup sold 44,578 units. Both saw a YoY decline of 38.13% and 26.45% respectively. CT also has a 125cc version called CT 125X which sold just 3 units last month.
While the 5,953 Freedom 125 CNG sold was notable, the 77,263 Pulsar 125s took the top spot as they’re the best-selling motorcycles from Bajaj. There was a 0.58% YoY decline and 125cc Pulsars account for 39.24% of Bajaj’s total sales. These include Pulsar NS125, Pulsar 125 and the newly launched Pulsar N125.
Accounting for 10.63% of Bajaj’s total sales, we have Pulsar 150 and Pulsar N150 with 20,926 units sold and registered a 26.25% YoY decline. The 160cc Pulsars (Pulsar N160 and Pulsar NS160) and Pulsar NS200 sold 12,071 units combined last month with a 36.29% YoY decline, while Avenger 160 sold 1,024 units with a 25.20% YoY decline.
Avenger 220, on the other hand, sold 276 units with 13.58% YoY growth. The 250cc Dominars sold 343 units, while 250cc Pulsars (Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250) sold 3,625 units with 17.15% and 32.52% YoY decline respectively. Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400Z sales stood at 278 and 582 units respectively. While Chetak contributed to 13.04% of Bajaj’s total sales with 25,680 units and 203.12% YoY growth.
