“Bachelor in Paradise” is getting a change of scenery, as the ABC dating spinoff heads from Mexico to Costa Rica for its upcoming 10th season, due summer 2025.
Jesse Palmer returns to host the series alongside Wells Adams as bartender, joined by Hannah Brown, who will be “bringing the bubbly to rose ceremonies in the all-new Champagne Lounge,” per the announcement.
Plus, as previously revealed, contestants from “The Golden Bachelor” and “The Golden Bachelorette,” ABC’s spinoffs geared toward senior citizen suitors, will hit the beach this year. The cast includes: Leslie Fhima (“The Golden Bachelor”), Gary Levingston (“The Golden Bachelorette”), Zoe McGrady (“The Bachelor” Season 29), Hakeem Moulton (“The Bachelorette” Season 21) and Jonathon Johnson (“The Bachelorette” Season 21).
It was reported in January that “Bachelor in Paradise” hired a new showrunner for Season 10, signaling that there may be more changes to the format besides the new tropical location. Taking the reins this season is Scott Teti, who executive produced ABC’s “Claim to Fame” and Bravo’s “Summer House,” as well as a couple of “Married at First Sight” spinoffs.
Palmer has hosted “Bachelor in Paradise” since Season 8, replacing franchise vet Chris Harrison after his exit in 2021. The ninth season aired in 2023 and ended with engagements between Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei and John Henry Spurlock and Kat Izzo, as well as a relationship between Aven Jones and Kylee Russell.
Meanwhile, “The Bachelor” wrapped up its 29th season in March, and “The Bachelorette” finished its 21st season in September.
