The Unbound Collection by Hyatt Debuts in Southeast Asia with New Jakarta Hotel

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Keraton at The Plaza in Jakarta, marking the first Unbound Collection by Hyatt hotel in Southeast Asia. The luxury hotel is designed to emulate the grandeur of Indonesia’s royal palaces and offers guests access to an exclusive private club for dining and socializing.

Keraton at The Plaza features 138 rooms and suites, each generously spaced with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Hadiprana designed the hotel’s interior, integrating modern Indonesian aesthetics, including renditions of batik knowing, a traditional batik pattern associated with Javanese royals.

The hotel also offers guests access to The Club on level 7, an expansive dining area serving a la carte offerings for all meals and featuring curated daily experiences and custom tea blends. The Club also exhibits thematic artwork by Hadiprana, showcasing national talents, and these artworks are available for purchase. The Club can also host intimate gatherings with a sophisticated boardroom and an exclusive chef’s table available.

In the Plaza Indonesia complex, Keraton at The Plaza is in the heart of Jakarta’s bustling culture, entertainment, and shopping scene. Guests can enjoy direct access to the Plaza Indonesia shopping mall, Grand Hyatt Jakarta’s recreational facilities, and renowned dining outlets. A passage connects the hotel to Grand Hyatt Jakarta, granting guests access to wellness and leisure areas, including a fitness center, swimming pool, Balinese garden, and two tennis courts.

In celebration of this debut, World of Hyatt offers members the chance to earn 1,500 Bonus Points for qualifying nights at Keraton at The Plaza, for stays from December 27th, 2024, and completed by March 31st, 2025.
