3 Arkansas men are behind bars after robbing a Game Stop and leading police on a 100 mph chase

Police found over $2,000 worth of stolen items.

There are many reasons why the police might pull someone over for a traffic stop. However, it’s not always due to bad driving habits. Instead, it could be over suspicion of a crime. This happened recently in Arkansas following three people robbing a Game Stop. Sadly, the driver ended up leading the police officers on a dangerous chase.

It’s never a good idea to avoid a traffic stop

According to KAIT8 News, Arkansas police received a call about a robbery at a Game Stop on December 21 involving suspects who had already driven away. Luckily, a trooper spotted the vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, and attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over, prompting a high-speed police chase. Sadly, there were times during the chase when the driver’s speed reached 100 miles per hour in residential areas.

The police on the scene continued trying to make the traffic stop. According to the report, “Troopers executed a tactical vehicle intervention at the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to stop the suspect vehicle.” This worked, and the police learned there were three people in the car. There was the driver, Dennis Davis, 27, Davion Lawson, 30, and Bobby Logwood, 33.

The three men face serious charges following the traffic stop. The driver has theft of property, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing, and various road violations. The two passengers are being charged with theft of property and drug paraphernalia. In total, the police uncovered over $2,600 worth of stolen items. Luckily, no one sustained injuries during the chase.
