According to Amazon seller YuLu Machinery, based in China, the house is fully equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, power sockets, and plumbing. The prefab modules are stackable in the classic container-home style and are built with walls of sandwich paneling held together by a sturdy steel frame graded for wind and earthquake resistance. The parts arrive flat-packed, according to the description, with minimal construction required.

As the designer, you get to customize the house, including the number of bedrooms (up to four), the color of the siding, and the floorplan. Plus, the seller provides a factory inspection video to buyers of the workshop abroad, as well as a machine inspection report and a two-year warranty on the home.

With the spacious rooftop deck, we envision summer dinner parties and morning yoga sessions; it can be accessed from the ground via an outdoor staircase. Inside, the ceiling-to-floor windows will provide gorgeous sunset views for the ultimate golden hours.
