Cotton prices are down 21 to 24 points so far on Tuesday morning. Futures regained some strength, with contracts up 88 to 136 points across the board on Monday. The outside markets were mixed factors, with the US dollar index back up 494 points and crude oil up 15 cents/barrel. The markets will be closed on Wednesday in observance of Christmas.
The Seam reported 2,689 bales of online sales on December 20 at an average price of 57.36 cents/lb. ICE cotton stocks were unchanged on Friday, at 20,113 bales of certified stocks. The Cotlook A Index was down 20 points on 12/20 at 78.15 cents/lb. The USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP) was cut by another 113 points last week to 55.09 cents/lb. It is good through Thursday.

May 25 Cotton closed at 70.47, up 130 points, currently down 24 points
Jul 25 Cotton closed at 71.36, up 124 points, currently down 22 points
