Despite modifications made to comply with the updated OBD-2B emission standards, the 124cc, air-cooled engine still delivers 11hp and 11Nm. It is paired to a five-speed transmission. Aside from meeting the stricter emission rules, the 2025 SP125 is mechanically and visually identical to the previous bike, save for the five new colourways.

With revised pricing for the 2025 model, the Honda SP125 has experienced a price hike across its variants. The drum brake variant (formerly priced at Rs 87,468) now costs Rs 4,300 more, at Rs 91,771, while the disc brake variant (formerly priced at Rs 91,468) sees an increase of Rs 8,800, now costing Rs 1,00,284.
