Manchester United have been handed a massive boost in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani during the winter transfer window.
The Frenchman was on the radar of the Red Devils last summer, but they ended up landing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for around £36m.
Zirkzee has been disappointing with only four goals in all competitions and the club are open to the possibility of landing another marksman.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that Kolo Muani is almost guaranteed to leave the French champions after falling out-of-favour under manager Luis Enrique.
He has been linked with a Premier League move for some time and United could make an approach to land him on loan with an option to buy.
The other solution could be a swap deal involving Marcus Rashford.
Rashford has been dropped for the last three games by manager Ruben Amorim and he is now considering an exit in the next transfer window.
PSG were interested in signing the England international last year and they could be tempted to accept a straight-exchange deal with Kolo Muani.
