Final Jeopardy Wagers and Winner for April 4
With some missteps from Bryce, Mike became the new Jeopardy champion for the April 4 match. Two of the contestants were able to get the right answer for Final Jeopardy.
Mike had a slim lead with $15,000 heading into the segment. His right response earned him an extra $6,601, and he came away with the victory with $21,601.
Guy wasn’t able to overcome Mike’s cover bet, but he did answer correctly too, getting him an extra $4,201. This pushed his $10,800 to $15,001 for second place.
Bryce had a lot of correct responses, but he only had $5,600 due to an incorrect Daily Double. He then bet most of the total, $5,599, and lost it with his response of “Physics.” It was close, but no cigar. He left in third with just $1 left.
Final Jeopardy Answer for April 4
The correct answer for Final Jeopardy on April 4, 2025 is “What is Chemistry?”
The way this clue is worded is a bit of a puzzle in of itself, but the answer becomes clear once you go through the history of the Nobel Prize. The only man to have won a Nobel Prize in two separate categories is Linus Pauling for Physics and Chemistry. And then the only woman to do the same is Marie Curie for Chemistry and Peace. This means that Chemistry is the right answer. If the contestants hone in on Marie Curie, they might get away with guessing Chemistry here.
