Chelsea could compete with Arsenal to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko this summer, according to Sky Sports.
The Slovenia international was a top target for the Gunners last summer, but a transfer did not materialise in the end.
Sesko signed a new contract with Leipzig, but he is widely expected to leave the German giants ahead of next season.
The Gunners remain interested in his services, but reports claim that Chelsea could make an approach of their own.
Sesko has amassed 20 goals and six assists this campaign. He has a release clause worth £58m-65m in his current contract.
The Blues could have an edge over the Gunners in the pursuit, considering Mikel Arteta‘s side have some reservations over him.
The Gunners are not totally convinced that Sesko is the right striker to lead them to the Premier League title next season.
Their alternate interest in Viktor Gyokeres could hand the Blues an advantage in the pursuit of the 21-year-old ace.
