Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) continues to launch updated products ahead of the new year. The latest they have launched is the 2025 Unicorn, designed to meet the needs of modern riders with a blend of performance, advanced features, and compliance with the latest emission norms. Priced at Rs. 1,19,481 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Unicorn continues its legacy in the premium commuter segment.
Design and Features
2025 Honda Unicorn retains its classic design with subtle modern enhancements. It comes with a new all-LED headlamp complemented by chrome embellishments, offering better illumination and a premium look. The fully digital instrument console is a standout feature, providing riders with crucial information such as a gear position indicator, service reminders, and an Eco indicator. Additionally, the Unicorn includes a USB Type-C port for charging devices on the go.
The bike is designed to ensure comfort and practicality for daily commuting. It measures 2,081 mm in length, 756 mm in width, and 1,103 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,335 mm and a ground clearance of 187 mm. The kerb weight of 139 kg makes it easy to handle, while the seat height of 798 mm and a seat length of 715 mm ensure rider and pillion comfort. The fuel tank capacity of 13 liters provides adequate range for longer rides.
Engine and Performance
2025 Unicorn is powered by a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke SI engine that delivers 9.7 kW of power at 7,500 RPM and 14.58 Nm of torque at 5,250 RPM. The engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox, is now OBD2B-compliant, meeting government regulations while ensuring an efficient and reliable performance.
It is equipped with 80/100-18 tubeless tyres at the front and 100/90-18 tubeless tyres at the rear, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride. The braking system includes a 240 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake, delivering adequate stopping power for daily use.
