Liam climbed out of a deficit and became the two-time Jeopardy champion during the April 21 match. His correct answer in Final Jeopardy gave him the surprise win.
All three contestants were in contention in Final Jeopardy. Bob had a slim lead with $15,200, but his incorrect response of “Brazil” dropped his score by $10,381. This left him in third with $4,819.
Both Maja and Liam got the right answer this time, but Liam had a higher score over Maja, leading to his victory. Liam increased his original score of $12,790 by $7,611 and came out on top with $20,401. Maja nearly doubled her score from $10,200 to $20,300 with her $10,100 bet, which was enough to get her second place.
