Elon Musk has yet again found himself at the center of online controversy involving Tiffany Fong. Rumors about Musk asking the crypto influencer to have his child began circulating after he reportedly unfollowed her on X (formerly Twitter). This has raised questions about what happened.
What happened to Elon Musk and Tiffany Fong?
Speculation surrounding Tiffany Fong and Elon Musk reportedly garnered significant attention after the Tesla owner suddenly unfollowed the crypto influencer on X. Fong, who had developed a strong following through her cryptocurrency commentary and interviews, became the subject of viral jokes suggesting she was pregnant with Musk’s child. She dismissed the rumors, clarifying they had never met in person.
However, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Musk had privately reached out to Fong in late 2024 via direct message, asking if she’d be open to having his child. Fong declined. She reportedly cited her preference for a more traditional approach to family life. She later told Ashley St. Clair, a fellow influencer, about the message. Soon after, Musk unfollowed Fong on X.
After Musk unfollowed her, Fong experienced a sharp decline in engagement on her platform and saw a noticeable drop in her X revenue. According to The Wall Street Journal, the fallout affected both her visibility and income, which had previously been substantial due to her following and viral content.
This wasn’t the only controversy surrounding Musk at the time. Ashley St. Clair, who previously claimed to have a child with Musk, alleged that he offered her a multimillion-dollar deal to remain silent. He reportedly offered $15 million upfront and $100,000 monthly until the child reached adulthood. However, she declined the proposal.
The report suggested Fong wasn’t the only person Musk approached about having a child. At present, Musk is believed to have fathered 14 children with four different women.
