Blake Lively has officially been named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025. She earned a spot in the “Titans” category. Her recognition comes during a high-profile lawsuit with Justin Baldoni. New claims and public statements from both sides continue to draw scrutiny.

Blake Lively appears on Time’s 2025 list of the 100 most influential people, named in the “Titans” category.
The 37-year-old actress shared her reaction on social media, writing, “It’s an honor to be acknowledged on the @time 100 list for 2025.” She added, “To be written about by the great @sherrilynifill is not something I take lightly.” Lively said Ifill “has shaped my heart and also my stamina to never stop believing in a future that’s better and safer for everyone.” She concluded, “My 10 year old self is pretty blown away right now.”
Blake Lively earned her spot on the list amid an ongoing legal battle with actor-director Justin Baldoni, who directed and co-starred with her in It Ends with Us. She filed a lawsuit against him in late 2024, and Baldoni countersued. The case will go to trial in March 2026. Time featured Lively on one of its five global covers, and she shared a screenshot of Ifill’s tribute in her post.
In her essay, Ifill wrote, “I don’t know the Blake Lively of the red carpet. Or the Met Gala. I never watched Gossip Girl. The Blake Lively I know is a philanthropist and a student of our country’s most intractable problems.” She added that Lively and Ryan Reynolds “reached out in 2019 to make a contribution to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.”
Ifill called Lively “a serious person” and “a risk taker,” noting she was “fully informed and prepared” during their early conversations. “She’s committed to moving this country forward. For her children. And for mine.”
Lively will appear next in Another Simple Favor, which Prime Video will release on May 1.
