Who Is Kelly MacDonald’s Pokkit in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew?

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew viewers were introduced to a character named Pokkit in the fifth episode. The character’s unique appearance, cryptic backstory, and history with main character Jude Law‘s Jod Na Wood have made fans curious about her and her place in the Star Wars universe.

Here is everything we know about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’s Pokkit.

Who is Pokkit in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew?

Kelly MacDonald’s Pokkit in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is a bounty hunter.

Pokkit’s profession was confirmed via dialogue. She and Jod Na Wood have a history with each other, calling the latter by another alias of his, “Dash Zentin.” It is revealed that Jod when using his “Dash” alias, once stole a bounty from Pokkit and left her in a pit of leeches. Pokkit, harboring a grudge, tried tracking him down but failed to find him. This is because, whenever she asked people about Zentin, they told her they had no idea who he was.

Pokkit confirmed in her conversation with Jod that she used to be a part of the Bounty Hunters Guild. This is the same group that Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin from The Mandalorian was affiliated with when working under Greef Karga. Pokkit has since left the guild and now works for a private client, who offered her even more money than what she earned from the guild. However, the client’s name or identity is currently unknown.

Pokkit’s species are unknown. This is because the official Star Wars database did not disclose it and only mentioned her character’s background in brief. However, she could likely be an Umbaran. This is because, like Umbarans, Pokkit has pale skin and white/colorless eyes.

The first five episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew are currently streaming on Disney Plus. Jon Watts and Christopher Ford helmed the series. Besides Law and MacDonald, the series also stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Nick Frost.
