The first Love Me poster for Bleecker Street’s forthcoming sci-fi romance movie has been released, which will feature a blend of animation and live-action performances from lead stars Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun. Following its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the movie is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 31, 2025.

“In the film, a buoy and a satellite meet online long after humanity’s extinction. As they learn what life was like on Earth, they discover who they are and what it means to be alive and in love,” reads the synopsis.

Who is involved in the Love Me movie?

Love Me is a post-apocalyptic movie that tells the love story involving animatronic machines evolving into human beings. It is written and directed by Sam Zuchero and Andy Zuchero. The film is produced by Kevin Rowe, Luca Borghese, Ben Howe, Shivani Rawat, and Julie Goldstein, with Daniel Bekerman, Christine D’Souza Gelb, and Connor Flanagan serving as executive producers.

Stewart most recently starred in the romantic thriller film Love Lies Bleeding with Katy O’Brian. She’s currently working on her feature-length directorial debut titled The Chronology of Water, based on the memoir by Lidia Yuknavitch. The movie will be led by Imogen Poots and Thora Birch.

As for Yeun, he recently reprised his iconic role as Mark Grayson/ Invincible in the latest season of Prime Video’s popular adult-animated superhero series. The Oscar-nominated actor will next be seen in Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17, starring alongside Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo.
